Microsoft has announced that the retirement of most popular MCSA, MCSD and, MCSE Certifications and, continued investment with role-based certification as previously announced. With this new change Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) will retire on June 30, 2020.
If you are already working on or half way to achieve one of these certificates, you need to pass all of the exams before they retire. The other important announcement is there will not be any Windows Server 2019 or SQL Server 2019 certifications and, the content of these certifications will be included in the role-based Azure exams. If you are a Certification holder with one of the above certificates, it’s time to think about one the role-based certifications explained as below.
